I extend my arm to you, my friend. With the hope that you will extend your arm to hold me at the right moment. I hope you will hold my hand tight enough that I get the support I can from you to hold on. If you miss it I have a great fall. A fall that will shatter me to pieces and it will take ages before I will be able to join those pieces again and have the courage to hold on to you again. Or maybe never again.
But my trust my friend is not an easy one to earn. And my trust lies not in your fancy words but in your actions.
I trust you when you approach me with your curiosity and make an attempt to genuinely know about what I mean and feel.
I trust you when you approach me with a learners mind to know more about my choices, respect them and not judge me based on your own predicament.
I trust you when you approach me with your vulnerability about your fears and insecurities and not your ego and pride.
